Application and use
The glossy metallic surface with its print receptive coating offers good printability in conventional label printing methods (e.g. UV-flexo). A verification of ink suitability is recommended.
Metal laminated papers are impermeable to grease, oil and other liquids. The aluminium layer offers an excellent barrier.
HERMAsilver bright matt is especially suitable for labels that require a metallic effect for decoration or technical purpose. That is e.g. for name plates and wiring diagrams, ornamental labels and also for applications in the beverage and cosmetics industry.
