HERMA Self-adhesive Material is expanding its e-commerce concept with the aim of achieving a completely new level of service. Customers benefit from an even faster ordering process in the web shop. In addition, users can also call up extensive information about the products in the area where a login is not required. The first important step is to integrate the Self-adhesive Materials web shop directly into the GBH website. Interested parties will then be offered all information and functions on one platform. In order to ensure that customers can get the products they need even faster and more selectively in the future, the ordering process will be considerably simplified: from three steps to one – following the example of the e-commerce specialists.
In future, it will also be possible to order products from HERMA with just one click. Customer information, such as prices and delivery address, are retrieved live from the SAP system. The update also allows for up to 40 percent faster response times from the web shop application.
For the first time in the history of HERMA, information on self-adhesive materials will be shown on the public website that interested parties can access without a login. The customer can first enter a search term for the desired product and receive additional service information for self-adhesive materials, such as delivery time, net width and stock service. This makes it easy to see whether the product is suitable for the requirements and makes the customer's buying decision easier upfront.
The new functions will also be available in French and Spanish and will provide real added value to potential new customers as well as existing customers worldwide.
