Application and use
HERMAsilk offers a supple and soft surface. It can even be heated for a short time to temperatures of about 200 °C. HERMAsilk withstands treatment at 150 °C for a period of 5 hours without any interference of its properties. As a consequence HERMAsilk allows printability not only in conventional printing methods but also in xerographic printing processes.
HERMAsilk can be used wherever flexible substrates are labelled or whenever labels of high decorative value are needed. Examples for applications: Textiles, carpets, mattresses, cables.
