Application and use

Thanks to its special surface treatment the glossy surface of HERMA PP 30 silver met tc offers an excellent quality of the imprint in all conventional printing methods like e.g. UV flexographic printing.

HERMA PP 30 silver met tc is perfect for the production of optically optically appealing and decorative labels. For recycling reasons these labels are preferably used on PP surfaces.

HERMA PP 30 silver met tc is particularly suitable for labelling luxury products, cosmetics and for applications demanding resistance to chemicals or weather.

Regulations concerning contact with food

HERMA PP 30 silver met tc is in compliance with the current relevant legal requirements of Regulation (EC) No.1935/2004 (not with Article 5) and Regulation (EC) No. 2023/2006. The base film has been manufactured only with monomers and additives that are authorized in Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 and subsequent amendments up to Reg. 2018/831/EU. Also the monomers and additives used for the manufacturing of the coating are either listed in Reg.10/2011/EU or in EU Member States legislation or have been risk assessed and comply with Article 3.1 a of Reg.1935/2004/EU. Therefore the film is suitable for direct food contact (any long time storage at room temperature or below, including heating up to 70 °C for 2 h or 100 °C for 15 min).
