Application and use
Adhesive 42Rpp offers good tack combined with excellent removability from most surfaces, even after long-term labelling. Thanks to its well-balanced adhesive characteristics this removable adhesive is pe rfectly suited for a wide variety of applications. However, the low adhesion of 42Rpp is likely to be insufficient for applications on curved surfaces.
The adhesive is resistant to light, heat and ageing.
Processing
Excellent die-cutting characteristics on all customary machines.
Storage conditions and shelf life
Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.
Regulations concerning contact with food
The pressure-sensitive adhesive 42Rpp can be safely used for the back coating of labels for the labelling of foodstuffs for storage at room temperature and below. It may be used in direct contact with dry, moist and fatty foodstuffs that can be assigned a correction factor of at least 4 in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011.
